Hello! I'm Mr. Ackerman
I am the 6-12 Choir Director at the Rock Valley Schools. I live here in town, but spend a lot of time in either Sioux Falls or Sioux City. I've been playing guitar for 15 years and love to spend my weekends gigging and practicing with my band. I also sing lead with a barbershop quartet made up of some of my best friends from college. Any excuse to get together and make music with my friends is my idea of a great time. I look forward to making music with my students both in the classroom and out through our co-curricular activities.
